This piece is one of a series of portraits of women and queer folks in their domestic space, in response to both the architectural space and other objects typically found in the home. I want these works to form their own vocabulary and ways of relating to the world that reflects these subjects and their lives.
The painting is on a 30” x 22” sheet of Stonehenge paper. The piece has an approximately 1.5” white border.
